Pst Godwin James

Pst. Godwin James  gave his life to Christ in one of the Tuesday evenings of the month of August, 1983 in Ewohimi, Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State, when receiving message of salvation from a now Reverend Minister(Rev. Lucky Osaro Odia) his father in the Lord of the Assemblies Of God Church.

After a while he relocated to Lagos in 1985 and joined Ikate Surulere branch of Assemblies of God Church. He was baptized in The Holy Spirit in August 1986 when the Church hosted one Rev. Cook from U.K in a four day revival. Later in 1986 he changed accommodation to Bariga area of Lagos where he joined Temple branch of The Assemblies of God Church a.k.a Berecha Family. He was in this branch of The Assemblies of God Church till 2008 when he left to obey God’s call to pioneer Divine Heirs Ministry Int’l. while in this branch he was privileged to have served in the capacity of the Sunday School Superintendent for a period of eighteen(18) years. His set of youth pioneered the Church Prayer Band and he was also privilege to head this group from 1987 when they started till 2008 when he left. In his period of twenty-five years of service to the Lord in Assemblies of God Church, he also served as a member of the Church Committee at Berecha Family.

In 1993 while still with The Assemblies of God Church, he had an encounter with the Lord where The Lord told him that he was going to lead a Nation of an Heir as a Ministry for Him, but that at the fullness of time He will let him know when to leave Assemblies of God Church. After several years of patiently waiting and diligently committed to the service of The Lord in The Assemblies of God Church, in 2008, it became clear that it was time for him to leave for the assignment. Sunday Thirteen(13) of April, 2008, Divine Heirs Ministry International was birthed, the first Sunday Service was held.
